Wolfpack Gear
Firefighter gear that promises safety, comfort, and strength, even under the most intense circumstances.
Context
Wolfpack Gear Inc. is an outdoor gear company that designs backpacks, hydration packs, tool kits, and more for Wildland Firefighters. I had the opportunity to support the release of the 6 separate products with them through 2D design.
Process
My work with Wolfpack Gear Inc. was done almost exclusively on Adobe Illustrator. Wolfpack would mail me final prototypes of their gear out to me, along with notes on any last-minute changes that they would like to make to the design. I would then take meticulous measurements of their prototypes and translate them into detailed, to-scale, 2D designs, making edits along the way. These designs would be sent off to one last person who would compile them into tech packs to be sent to the manufacturer.
